At PIP-UK we are aware it’s very easy to get lost in the dreams we have for our charity which we long to see succeed. It’s all too easy for us to forget why we started the charity which was born out of a desire to help other people and to spread the word about rare syndromes; like Poland Syndrome. Here’s a little reminder that kindness costs nothing.

I was watching TV the other night and I was intrigued to see a report where people were passing on a kindness to a stranger.

It showed a man who whilst driving abroad came to a toll booth to be told the car in front had paid for him. When he came home he did the same thing for a stranger and so he had passed on a kindness.

I have heard of this before and I think its a wonderful idea. It’s so simple and simple ideas are always the best. So I would like to encourage others to give it a try. It might simply be that you help someone carry their shopping or give up your seat on a bus or train, for no reason at all other than to pass on your kindness. It can be as simple or complicated as you want it to be. Just do something nice for someone, its free!!

Leave us a comment about your simple act of kindness or a kindness that was given to you. We’d love to hear from you.
